~Personality~

Her personality in her later years has not changed much; her flirtatious attitude still a reigning attribute. Perhaps, married life has mellowed her out a bit, or maybe, made her an extensively more joyful.

~Background~

Over the past few months after the Shadow Monster attack, Reka and Vegeta Junior continue their strange relationship; however, that tumultuous moment has seemingly drawn the pair closer, beginning to understand each other much more than they had. Reka watches as Vegeta Junior slowly breaks out of his dark, closed off shell. Soon, in the spring of Age 804, Reka gives birth to their daughter—whom Vegeta Junior names Braiden.

A couple months pass again, the couple is as close as ever. Funnily enough, Reka has apparently forgotten, or at least has dropped, the idea of marriage, content on waiting for Vegeta Junior to be ready. Honestly, she is already pleasantly happy with the way things are now, loving him and her two children. However, in the summer, Reka’s world is turned upside down when she is met with a sloppy, hilariously awkward marriage proposal from her Saiyan Prince, flashing her a diamond ring he had been working for over the past year. Needless to say, Reka spends the next several weeks promptly showing off her engagement ring like a giddy schoolgirl.

Vegeta Junior and Reka are wed.

Sabi Saga

7 years after the Shadow Monster epidemic, Reka Briefs is, of course, enjoying life. She and Vegeta Junior have gotten incredibly lovey-dovey with each other, confusing most people and making them wonder how they’re still on their “honeymoon phase”. The two still butt heads every once and awhile, but at this point, it’s mostly just playful insults. Reka muses that Vegeta Junior has become this way because he is afraid of repeating that time after the monsters. She understands that.

Her husband and her children enter the upcoming tournament. She cheers on both Shorts and Braiden when they are matched up—and finally Shorts when he goes up against Goku Junior’s second child, Goshin, in the Junior Division finals. As the WMAT progresses smoothly (for once?), Reka finds herself in that same bad feeling she had felt years ago, and this causes her to become nervous—but, Reka hides this and cheers on her husband as he is, once again, matched with his best friend and rival Goku Junior.

The fight is about to start, a strange, black-and-purple orb appears, hovering above the two Z-Fighters—the two are transfixed, practically hypnotized, by the eerie ball. Suddenly, the orb explodes and sucks the silver and gold Dragon Balls from Vegeta and Goku Junior’s bodies. They are left weakened and unconscious when the Dragon Balls are taken. When Reka gets down from the stands, she finds Vegeta Junior is a worse condition than Goku Junior, appearing as if he’s barely alive.

While the Juniors are put in the med bay to monitor them, Reka adamantly joins the mission to hunt down the missing Dragon Balls to save their lives. They find the Dragon Balls, oddly, spread out across the globe. Being experience with these matters, they find the DBs easily; however, the gold four-star ball and the silver one-star ball are nowhere to be found.

The gang eventually discovers the final two Dragon Balls, when their own are stolen once again, in an underground lair. They encounter a Saiyan, who with a hairstyle like flame, is eerily similar in looks to Vegeta Junior. This Saiyan, named Sabi, asks them what they’re willing to give up for the Dragon Balls, emphasizing casually that “Vegeta Junior will surely die without them”.

Reka offers herself up in exchange.

Although there is much protest against this, Reka insists that if they don’t hurry, it might be too late for Vegeta Junior and Goku Junior. With great reluctance, she is left with Sabi while the Dragon Balls are returned back to the DragaSaiyans.

Reka is…weirded out by Sabi’s interest in here, as it appears to translate into some weird infatuation with her. He doesn’t do any of the awful things she pictured he would—Sabi is insulted by this, saying that’s gross. Odd.

Sabi reveals himself to be the son of Shiru, the God of Wisdom and the first Silver DragaSaiyan—and therefore, Vegeta Junior’s ancestor. Sabi further explains that his brother, Zuke, had defeated him in battle when he tried to exterminate the Saiyan race on their original homeworld, Sadala. Of course, he had failed and was presumed dead, but upon finding an immortality elixir—granting him eternal youth and life (unable to die from natural causes)—he continued to wreak havoc upon the universe, wiping out civilizations upon civilizations for thousands of years.

Sabi remarks that her husband—he says this with disdain—will be coming shortly and that he has a surprise for him and his little band of warriors. Reka, unsurely, asks what, and she is greeted with black, knocked out cold from Sabi’s magic sucking a dark energy from her.

Much later, Reka wakes up in Vegeta Junior’s arms, the man visibly shaken for fearing she was dead. Reka is then surrounded by her children and her friends in her cell, asking what Sabi had done to her. After struggling to remember, Reka fails to recall what he took, but she knew it was something dreadful.

The Z Warriors confront Sabi and engage in battle. Sabi, having the power to recreate nightmares, unleashes what he had stolen from Reka’s: the great Shadow Monster that killed her.

As the battle continues, and the illusionary monster is once again killed, it is proposed that the only way to defeat Sabi is to go to the level beyond Super DragaSaiyan. Goku Junior suggests that they make Vegeta Junior go Super DragaSaiyan God, stressing that he should be the one to kill Sabi. Sabi is, of course, intrigued by this and lets it pass, his Saiyan blood surely itching for a worthy opponent. Reka participates in the ritual, since it requires the other DragaSaiyan and other who are close to the to-be DragaSaiyan God. Once it is done, Vegeta Junior transforms into this new, powerful form, surrounded by an icy aura and a cold atmosphere, determined to end this once and for all.

Sabi is finally defeated and his reign of chaos as well. Vegeta Junior is left exhausted, most of his energy spent. Reka is proud of her husband, telling him “I knew you could do it”.

The Z gang celebrates, as they normally do.

Reka is, unfortunately, plagued by nightmares after the incident, mostly consisting of her husband dying, brutally beaten, or her children missing. Vegeta Junior comforts her, as she always did with him. Eventually, the nightmares cease, the memories still remain.

In Age 815, Reka and Vegeta Junior have another child, Gin, who seems to have obtained his father’s ice powers when he entered SDSJ God—the child’s hair has a silver patch in it, as well as his tail tip.

Grandchildren and great-grandchildren follow. In Age 864, Reka is widowed when Vegeta Junior dies from his heart condition in the night, right after his birthday celebration. She lives the rest of her life alone, mourning the loss of her husband, despite being surrounded by her family and friends comforting her. She is among the last of her friends as the years pass on, and in Age 870, at 92-years-old, Reka Briefs dies, finally joining her husband in Otherworld.

~Misc~

  • After being killed by the Shadow Monster, Reka is left with a scar on her neck, albeit, a faint one. She still feels a sharp pain every once in a while in that area.
  • On their honeymoon, Reka and Vegeta Junior decided to go Dragon Ball hunting for fun. That’s all they said that happened, but knowing them, people suspect that got into something weird…
  • She gave her son Shorts the nickname “Chibi-kun” to differentiate between him and his future counterpart. She is extremely close to her little boy.
  • She ran into Dai again when she was shopping for her unborn child—Braiden, and she was visibly pregnant. Reka was surprised, and proud, of Vegeta Junior when he didn’t blast the man to bits when he saw her starting to cry and calmly told Dai to piss off (not in those exact words, but—).
  • Her neck is ticklish. When Vegeta Junior discovered this, well…
__________

Well, the final bio is finally out! But now, that ending has left me depressed... Uh... imagine Otherworld VegeRe shenanigans?

Great work and so the story concludes!! Laughed so hard when Sabi gets appalled at the notion of doing anything like "that" to Reka LOL. xD Asshole Dai is still there. I wanna know more about what happens in that shopping mall haha. Haha the ticklish neck is definitely the best (love that neck-kissing picture btw). As always, love these two!!! Heart Heart Heart
